Yashwant Agritech Pvt. Ltd, Jalgaon (Maharashtra) started breeding activity in 2000 under the guidance of renown poultry breeding scientist Dr A.G.Khan (Ph.D. poultry genetics) U.S.A Retired head of poultry science department, Jabalpur Veterinary college. Outcome is “SATPUDA DESI” champion synthetic improved hybrid which is replica of native chicken for rural poultry production. Breed is specially suited for small poultry farmers.
All directors of the company are from agriculturist family. Company has its hatchery and breeding farm located at Dongaon road, Paldhi village Taluka: Dharangaon. 13 kms from Jalgaon city.
At present company has 20,000 breeder hens and farm is completely isolated. Strict biosecurity norms are observed.
Company has 100% pure kadaknath breed stock brought from Zhabua ( M.P) and maintained under scientific manner as YASHWANT AGRITECH is known for.
Company is producing and distributing 20,000 day old kadaknath chicks per month. Our company also supply pure kadaknath breed hatching eggs.
Strong supply Chain:-
Company has appointed areawise distributors. Farmers place order with distributors. Date of hatch and supply programme in specific area are fixed on monthly basis and accordingly chicks are supplied to the door steps of the small scale farmers by chick delivery van.
Distributors provide guidance regarding probable market places and market rates.
Satpuda Desi" poultry breed is approved for all centrally sponsered schemes by Department of Animal Husbandry, Central Government of India. Vide-Circular no. F.NO.43-10/2011-LDT(P).
Our company is supplying day old chicks of "Satpuda-desi" breed and "Kadaknath" breed.
Our company also supply Hatching eggs of "Satpuda-desi" and "Kadaknath" breed.
As a government implementary officer I have chosen C.A.R.I approved SATPUDA-DESI birds for government schemes like "SWAYAM" in naxal affected remote tribal area like SALEKASA . Beneficiaries are getting good returns and livelihood support program is doing well.
For "Mahila" self help groups SATPUDA-DESI birds rearing have been practiced since last 4 yrs with very encouraging results.
Kadaknath chicks supplied by Yashwant Agritech Ltd and reared in our institute for distribution to self help groups in tribal area has shown very good results.
